Bhullya Hoya Waqt - "The Forgotten Times" 1984

Sunday, February 24, 2008 Posted by Manpreet Singh at 11:12 AM

After watching Amu Gunjiv Singh (Age, 16) was emotionally touched & thinking about the families and the victims of 1984, he wrote this poem. I took as it was very touching, so sharing with you.

Kaale Jehe Din, Haneri Jehi Raat,
Maut Da Saath, Vichaare Bache Hoye Anaath

Maut De Muh Vich Si Saada Naa
Sikkhan Ne Khoey Apney Bhen, Bhra Te Maa
Saare Paase Si, Khoon Di Holi
Swer, Shaam, Raat Si Goliyan Di Boli
Widhvaa Ho Rahee Si O Dulhan Di Doli

Thalle Gir Ke Lokaan Ne Mangee Bheekh,
Ek Hi Vishvaas Si, Sabh Ho Jayega Theek
Eh He Hai Zindagi Di Karvi Jehi Reet
Kuch Theek Nahi Phir Vi Hai Rab Naal Preet

Eh Si Ik Buraa Jiha Sapna,
Agar Koi Lave Pata, Ta Samjo Si Oh Apna

Eh Si Rab Vallon Saada Imtehaan,
Dekhna Si Kaun Chhup Ke Khoyega Aapna Maan,
Lok Larde Rahey Te Pardey Rahey Apni Kuraan
Yakeen Si Key Mannega Unaa Da Bhagwaan

Police Hai Saadi Hifazat Karan Vaaste
Aapni Jaan Deyke Theek Kare Lokaan De Raaste
Par Afsar Chumdey Rahey Minister Dey Boot
Sikhan Nu Zinda Rakhna Si Sabh To Vadaa Jhooth

Sabh Kuch Theek Hon Dey Bavajud Kuch Theek Nahi
O Maa Jisda Beta Zinda Nahi
O Bhai Jisdi Bhen Maar Ditti Gayee
O Patni Jisda Pati Zinda Reh Key Vi Zinda Nahi

Hanju Tham Gaye, Lok Chup!
O '84 Dey Saal Nu Kadi Nahi Mili Dhup
Hanere Vich Bach Gaye Zaalman Di Maar
Jis Vich Mile Si Police, Minister Tey Puri Sarkaar
